So this memorial weekend we took our first family vacation (that means just the three of us!). It was wonderful. We went to Charleston, SC...one of my very favorite cities. This was Reese's first time at the beach and she absolutely loved it. I wasn't sure if she would like it because we had visited our friend Jessica's house and played in her daughter Isabella's sandbox...and Reese didn't like the sand at all. She didn't mind the packed sand at the beach though. We were only there for a short while and she was wiped out when we left...take a look at the pictures!
While in Charl
eston we also took the tour on the carriage ride. It was really nice, but I will warn anyone who is traveling there with a toddler...they tell you that the toddler is free, but forget to mention that the toddler will be sitting on your lap with three other adults in your row! We are so lucky that Reese is a pretty low key baby b/c the tour took 1 1/2 hours and she sat in my lap the whole time...didn't whine or cry! Now wouldn't you think that all the adults (especially the ones next to me) would have told us what an amazing baby we have that she was so good for that long in the third row back from the horses????
