First Start

Well,

first attempt at blogging! Kristi, you will have to be my inspiration for this.

So us in a nutshell to get started. Rob and I met in NYC on a rooftop (we were neighbors) in Sep 1999. Seems so long ago. We started dating immediately and it was great....just like any NYC romance. When Rob decided to go to graduate school at Yale in 2001 I moved to Boston (a little more affordable by yourself!). It was great being in Boston with my extended family and it was awesome to be closer to the ski slopes! Rob would come up on the weekends in the winter and we would drive to Vermont to ski. Boy, that reminds me that it has been way too long since we have skiied.

When he graduated from Yale in 2003 we moved back to NYC, but this time we were living together. We had the best apartment in the best neighborhood and we really enjoyed ourselves. Eating and going out nightly was the norm! Later that year we got engaged and started planning our wedding. We got married in 2004 at a church at 38th and Park Avenue and we had our reception on the rooftop of the Yale Club (fitting since we met on a rooftop!).

In October 2006 we had our first child-our daughter Reese. We moved to Atlanta in Feb 2007 and that is where we are today!
